Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup nuts, chopped or 3/4 cup cinnamon baking chips
  • butter or oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Cream together butter and granulated sugar.
  • Mix in eggs, sour cream, vegetable oil, and vanilla.
  • Add dry ingredients and mix together.
  • Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts or cinnamon chips.
  • Spray Stoneware Baking Ring with cooking spray or brush with butter or oil and pour half the batter in the ring. Sprinkle half the filling/topping on top of the batter. Pour in remaining batter. Sprinkle remaining filling/topping on top.
  • Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. (Note: My oven only took 30 minutes.).
  • Serve warm from pan or let stand until ring is cool to the touch and invert onto plate to serve.
