Iced Ginger Coffee Recipe

I found this recipe in a healthy heart cookbook & thought it sounded interesting. The ginger ale gives it just a tinge of ginger flavour and a slight fizz on the tongue.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 teaspoons dry instant coffee
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 3/4 cup skim milk
  • 1/4 cup ginger ale
  • sugar or Splenda sugar substitute
  • ice (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Combine coffee & water and allow to cool.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Serve over ice.
